KLRI held Presentation on Research Projects 2018

The Korea Legislation Research Institute (President: Rhee Ik Hyeon) held a presentation on research projects 2018 in JW Marriott Hotel Seoul from 3 pm on Dec. 12th (Wed).
 
The Korea Legislation Research Institute prepared this performance report conference to share the research results conducted by KLRI on 2018, and seek development measures on research projects of next year.
 
This performance report conference, attended by around 100 executives and members of the Korea Legislation Research Institute and academic experts, has proceeded through sessions including introduction of performance on the entire research areas carried out by KLRI and discussion by experts.
 
In Session I, the operational results and performance on research projects conducted by the Office of Administrative Law Research; Office of Socio-Cultural Law Research; and Office of Financial and Economic Legislation Research were introduced. During this Session, issues on regulatory statutes in Republic of Korea, hindering the creation of new industries, were presented and reasonable regulatory alternatives were shared.
 
Major research achievements from legislative evaluation, constitutional systems, unified legal systems, global legal strategies, climate changes, support on legal exchange and legal translation were explained in Session II, and research results under discovering needs of legal system necessary for inter-Korean exchange and cooperation were also introduced.
 
Feedbacks from experts were provided on the basis of published research results, attended by Kim Jae Kwang, professor of Sun Moon University, Kim Doo Jin, professor of Pukyong National University, Kim Il Hwan, professor of Sungkyunkwan University, and Kim Do Seung, professor of Mokpo National University as debaters.
 
Rhee Ik Hyeon, President of the Korea Legislation Research Institute, said “We will work out to enhance the reflection of research on policies by preparing various platforms that can inform the public of the performance of KLRI.”
