KLRI won Prime Minister's Citation for Institute

The Korea Legislation Research Institute (President: Rhee Ik Hyeon) won the Prime Minister's Citation for Institute in the Presentation Ceremony for Persons of National Merit among Government-Contributed Research Institutes 2018, held in the conference room of the Office of Government Policy Coordination on Jan. 16th (Wed).
In the ceremony, Orders of Merit, Medals of Honour, and Presidential Citations were awarded to excellent researchers and institutes affiliated to the National Research Council for Economics, Humanities & Social Science, and the Korea Legislation Research Institute was the only institute, who won the Prime Minister's Citation. In addition, Song Young Sun, member of the KLRI, was honored to receive the Citation of Minister of Office of Government Policy Coordination, being recognized for contribution to efficient operation of the institute to support national legislation policies.
President Rhee Ik Hyeon of the KLRI said "One of the missions of a government-funded research institute is to suggest the vision of future society to be pursued by the Republic of Korea, and to actively engage in developing strategies to implement such vision,” and continued, "Taking this award as an opportunity, we will redouble our efforts to be a research institute meeting the expectation of the public.”
On top of the above achievement, the Korea Legislation Research Institute has won Best Institute Award 2018 in excellent institutes assessed by the National Research Council for Economics, Humanities & Social Science.
