2021 Initial Research Review for Basic Research and General Research Projects to be held

Korea Legislation Research Institute (President Kye-Hong Kim) holds the 2021 Initial Research Review for Basic Research and General Research Projects at the KLRI Conference Room for three days from February 22 (Mon) to 24 (Wed).
 
A total of 20 Research Projects, including 12 Basic Research Projects and 8 General Research Projects are to be reviewed during the three days of Review. The Initial Research Review is proceeded with lead researchers presenting a research plan, internal and external reviewers providing with their deliberation opinions, and other peer researchers sharing their views. 
 
Each research project would be allocated with an hour of in-depth consultative discussion where a lead researcher, reviewers and participating researchers exchange opinions on research plan, goals and contents.  
 
The first day of the Initial Research Review which was held on Feb. 22 with Dr. Hyun-Sook Cha Director of Future Legislation Projects Department presiding over reviewed 7 Basic Research Projects, e.g. Legislative Research on  Post-COVID 19 Social Changes; Research on Legislative Modification for the Growth of Non-Contact Industries; Legislative Research on Establishing Infrastructure of Platform Industry; Legislative History Research(II)-National Land Planning Act; and Research on the Amendment of Public Medical Laws. 
In particular, Legislative Research on Post-COVID 19 Social Changes plans to organize a group of experts in twelve social sectors and operates it throughout the year. It would provide researchers with an opportunity of getting first-hand knowledge from experts from government, industries, schools and research institutes. 
 
The 2021 Initial Research Review for Basic Research and General Research Projects continues two more days to review on Basic Research Projects including Legislative Research on Administrative Force and General Research Projects including Legislative Research on Regulatory Innovation(I); Legislative Research on Social Value(III); and Global Legislative Strategy Study (XI).
