Inviting Kim Hyung-Yeon, Minister of Government Legislation, the 38th Legislative Policy Forum Held

The Korea Legislation Research Institute invited Kim Hyung-yeon, Minister of Government Legislation, as a presenter for the 38th Legislative Policy Forum on the subject of “Innovation in Administrative Law” held at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas Rose Room (5F) on Monday (16).
 
In his presentation, Mr. Kim introduced the achievements of the Legislature for Regulatory Reform and Active Administration and explained the necessity of innovation in administrative legislation. At the same time, he pointed out the problems of the current administrative legislation and shared basic directions for the establishment of the basic administrative law. Emphasis was placed on the establishment of the Basic Administrative Law, which emphasized the completion of the rule of law and the protection of the rights of the people, the implementation of positive administration, the promotion of regulatory innovation, and the efficiency of the administrative law system.
 
KLRI President Kim remarked, “The Minister has emphasized that the establishment of the Basic Administrative Law is a work that requires not only the executive but also the legislative, judicial and academic interests and cooperation. I hope this will be a very meaningful place to hear the opinions of the experts who attended.”
 
Meanwhile, the Korea Legislation Research Institute is holding a legislative policy forum to invite experts from various fields to share legislative results and discover new legislative tasks. In the meantime, various experts such as Kim Sang-jo, Fair Trade Chairman, Jeong Se-kyun, former National Assembly Chairman, and Park Jeong-hoon, Chairman of the Police Committee, attended the forum.
