KLRI Held the First Innovation Growth and Regulatory Forum

The Korea Legislation Research Institute (President: Rhee Ik Hyeon) held the first innovation growth and regulatory forum at the 21st Floor Conference Room of the Seoul Finance Center from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on July 2nd (Tuesday). 
 
The KLRI organized a research council by inviting 11 experts in law, economics, administration and research, including Park Kyun Sung, chairperson of the Korea Law Professors Association Inc., and Lee Soo IL, professor of the KDI School of Public Policy and Management. The council aims to discuss preemptive legislative measures in response to technological innovation. 
 
In the future, the KLRI will hold a monthly forum and adopt an interdisciplinary theoretical approach to draw various implications. In the first forum, Park Kyun Sung, chairperson of the Korea Law Professors Association Inc. gave his presentation under the theme of “Innovation Growth and Regulations.”
 
The Korea Legislation Research Institute performs legal research to resolve the regulations on new technology and new industry, establishing roadmap for preemptive regulatory innovation to support innovation growth in line with the government's economic paradigm shift.
