The Korea Legislation Research Institute (“KLRI”), headed by President Rhee Ik-hyeon, held a ceremony to celebrate the 28th anniversary of its foundation at its main conference room on Friday, July 27, with  approximately 150 its executive and staff members in attendance.

The ceremony started with a report on the history of the institute and the reward ceremony for employees who  contributed to this year’s Institution Evaluation. “In order for KLRI to continue to exist for a long time, it is important to acknowledge individual diversity in the institute and to communicate and harmonize with each other,” President Rhee emphasized.

The event was followed by a lecture delivered by an invited speaker. Kim Jin-kook, Professor of the Pai Chai University, lectured on “Enterprises, Regulation, and Promoting Social Values.” The lecture provided an opportunity to think about what ultimate values enterprises have to persue and what researchers need to be concerned about.

KLRI was founded in 1990 and this year marked its 28th anniversary.
